Bogor Weekend

A weekend in Bogor, an hour away from Jakarta.
Weather up here is cooling, reminded me of Cameron Highlands.
Simple lunch for the three of us

The house keeper brought us a mountain of corns! :)

Someone knocked on the door offering pony ride.

BIL and GF went for the pony ride while hubby and me took  FIL's precious out for a ride. It's so funny to imagine old people riding scooter up the mountain, i meant my MIL and FIL, 几 lomantic 一下.

 Tea plantation
Found a resort on the mountain, The Pinewood.

The organic stretch of The Pinewood, they grow and deliver organic greens to Jakarta.
Organic market, this is a gem. If you ever tried vegetable steamboat on Cameron Highland you will know how sweet and crisp mountain vegetation are. So fresh, so sweet, so affordable.
 Cutest pumpkin i ever seen

So much of organic veges plus a small pumpkin for less than 10 SGD.

Vege with korean dipping sauce Ssamjang 쌈장
Started drizzling, couldn't use the outdoor BBQ pit, lucky there is a portable one.
MIL's marinated beef prime riibs (bulgogi) is so succulent, all of us just gathered around the BBQ stand waiting for them to be cooked.
 BBQ pumpkin
BBQ corn here is so sweet, we didn't even add butter or salt.
 BBQ sweet potato

MIL's two new baby German Shepherd, she got them a few months ago after this house got broken into.
They are babies but they are not cute and very aggressive. The husband got multiple scratches and holes on his new tee shirt. I am hiding behind the doors peeking through the window watching them play.

Bye babies, see you again soon.
